Food and Hypothyroid My Journey

Around four months ago I learned about Hypothyroid and had no idea I had anything wrong with me. I thought it was nothing when the integrative md told me to eat no gluten and avoid some things like sugar. Well that was a huge suprise to me as to how hard it was and I got so upset and frustrated and even furious how and why me were all I could think of. In hindsight it probably was good for me since hey I just got a great Vitamix I could use but now it had to be low sugar smoothies, just one fruit a day. I struggle when I go to the supermarket because I have big sugar cravings from candida. I try to do high intensity exercise and have green veggie smoothies but unless I get good sleep forget it at night sugar cravings attack me. My favorite websites now are www.mercola.com , www.naturalnews.com and http://bodyecology.com/articles/ . My candida is not that bad but add being allergic to peanuts, corn, spelt, wheat, and tons of other stuf it feels overwhelming but it's ok I learned to use a playmate with ice wherever I go I bring smoothies and coconut oil which is great for hypothyroid. Also, I would recommend no fat at night moderate protein and some say high  carbs but ehh as long as its low on sugar I guess thats fine. Talking about food if you go to the market ie Whole Foods (so pricey at times) there are raw bars that are 7g sugar in blue I forget the flavor and there is some other bar micro something too those are fine but no soy so thats good soy lexithin is fine too. Avocado is my new favorite food and is another great way to get zinc and healthy nutrients in your smoothie. Stay away from chocolate because it over stimulates adrenal glands even though dark is better because it has less sugar it will still mess with your sleep. So if you can do it go organic as I am supposed to and grass fed protein but I just go with one piece of meat a day to reduce acid in my body or at least keep it under contrl. I am curious what others do for leak guy and candida.
